The Queen v TG
TG was a young man who was found to have 15 capsules of MDMA in his possession at the Defqon.1 Music Festival. He was charged with 'possession of a prohibited drug'.
TG pleaded guilty to the charge at the earliest opportunity. He was represented by Chris Cole at the Downing Centre Local Court for sentence, and the presiding magistrate opted to impose a Good Behaviour bond on TG pursuant to section 10 of the Crimes (Sentencing Procedure) Act.
TG was therefore able to maintain a clean criminal record and did not receive a conviction for the offence.
